Description

This recipe combines tender steak bites and succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter soy glaze. It is a simple yet flavorful dish perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak bites and cook for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  6. Stir in the soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat everything in the glaze.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
