Description

A creamy and rich shrimp alfredo pasta dish that is easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Drain pasta and add it to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce. Toss to coat.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley.
