Description

Crispy, flavorful fries seasoned with a spicy Cajun blend, made easily in your air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes, scrubbed clean
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning blend
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the potatoes. Peel them or leave the skin on.
  2. Cut the potatoes into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick sticks.
  3. Soak the potato sticks in cold water for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Drain the potatoes and pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  5. Toss the dried potato sticks with olive oil in a large bowl until lightly coated.
  6. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper over the potatoes. Toss again until evenly coated. Add salt to taste.
  7. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
  9. Air fry for 15-25 minutes, shaking the basket every 5-7 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove from the air fryer, season with additional salt if needed, and serve immediately.
