Description

Crispy and flavorful potato wedges with a spicy kick, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large Russet potatoes, scrubbed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each potato lengthwise into wedges. Aim for about 8 wedges per potato.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wedges are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before drying them thoroughly and tossing with oil and spices.
  • Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the level of spiciness.
  • These wedges are delicious served with a side of ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
