Description
Classic tater tot casserole with green beans.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package (16 ounces) frozen green beans
- 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Add frozen green beans on top of the meat mixture.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the green beans.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and casserole is heated through.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a cheesier casserole, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots during the last 10 minutes of baking.
- You can substitute other vegetables for the green beans, such as corn, peas, or mixed vegetables.
