- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Drain pasta and add it to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Toss to coat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
