These White Cheddar & Spinach Chicken Burgers are a delicious and healthy option for a quick weeknight meal. Enjoy juicy, flavorful burgers packed with fresh spinach and topped with melted white cheddar.

- 1.25 lbs ground chicken
- 5 oz fresh spinach, chopped
- 4 oz white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix all ingredients until well combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- If desired, add extra white cheddar cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt the cheese.
- Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the burger mixture.
- You can use frozen spinach, but be sure to thaw it and squeeze out any excess moisture before adding it to the mixture.
- Serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
