Description

Ingredients

All-purpose flour, 2 1/2 cups
Granulated sugar, 1 3/4 cups
Baking powder, 3 1/2 teaspoons
Baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon
Salt, 1 teaspoon
Unsalted butter, 1 cup (2 sticks), softened
Large eggs, 4 (room temperature)
Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
Buttermilk, 1 cup
Chocolate frosting (or your favorite), as needed
Sprinkles, as needed


Instructions

Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans
